Vaishnav Devi is one of the most beautiful destinations in north India. Temple is situated near the top of the mountain and 14KM away from the small town of Katra. People take holy walk of 14 Km to temple, however Horses , careers and even helicopters are available as other means. You could take Yatra Parchi from the counter at Katra or even on internet to avoid the Peak season rush.
Most interesting and amusing thing about vaishnav Devi is that u will be in touch with nature for the whole journey , 14Km of steep walk is no easy thing, but coupled with the songs and bhajans it feels like a piece of cake.
Katra is small ride from Jammu and buses are available at plenty from Jammu.
